Equipment Bundles.

Bundle Descriptions This gear is pre-arranged, into a series of bundles and kits with battlepoints cost calculated The Bundles are arranged around a specific task, individual role or Match Type. This makes it easier to assign arms and equipment when calculating battle points. Because related items are given out together, one individual item can be swapped outside of a bundle. The item swapped must be equal to or less the original item's cost in gold pieces. The swap can be used if a bundle comes with a weapon a character isn't proficient with or if the player simply prefers a different item. Bundle Titles: - Cloak And Dagger Bundle
- Hunters Bundle
- Defends Bundle
- Illusionist's Bundle

Eye in the Skye seems like a mouthful for a bundle. And the ones for protecting against energy types seem a little generic. Perhaps instead of protection, use the word ward? It sounds a bit better in my opinion. And eye in the sky might be better shortened down to Flyers bundle. Another suggestion, Bundles for each school of magic, including scrolls and such for each. Diviners Bundle, Evocater's bundle, Illusionist's Bundle, etc.

Another suggestion. Do you think having different levels for each bundle might help as well? For instance, a Hunter's bundle for a level 3 team, a level 5 team, and etc? Of course a person could splurge for a higher level bundle of that group, but they might not be able to use all the items within... hmm.. just throwing that out there then in case you have a way to improve it. Edit: Another suggestion. Bundles for the different Archetypes. If they're already made, it means someone who wants to play one of the archetypes of their class doesn't have to worry about getting gear that doesn't fit. Two-Handed Warriors Bundle, Two-Weapon Warriors bundle. It could mix well with Ranger Combat styles as well if done right, so you don't need to do it for that too.

Hi, folks. I'm the primary person on equipment bundles. We really appreciate the ideas and feedback. Please keep it coming. :) To give y'all an idea of what's been going on, this is the basic outline I've used so far when brainstorming: Weapon 1: Shield/Weapon 2/Other: Armor: Extras: Other refers to miscellaneous things like wands or magic staves, and Extras are magic and expensive alchemical items the character might have on hand. Right now, we are planning on completing a bundle set for each level. For example, Cloak and Dagger (C&D) bundle progressions might look like... Level 1 Weapon 1: Rapier Shield: Light wooden (swap for a second weapon?) Armor: Studded Leather (swap for leather if Dex is high enough and have 0 armor check penalty) Extra: potion of cure light wounds Level 2 Weapon 1: Rapier Shield: Light wooden Armor: Studded leather Extras: potion cure light wounds, smoke pellets x4 (from APG @ 25 gp ea) (4 battlepoints) Level 3 Weapon: Rapier Shield: Lt wooden Armor: MW studded leather (2 battlepoints) Extras: potion cure light wounds, oil of magic weapon, smoke pellets x2 (6 battlepoints) Etc, etc. In reading the suggestions so far, the thought occurred to me that a "basic" kit based on class and match type could be a good place to start. We could supplement with suggested substitutions based on archetypes (two-weapon fighter, urban ranger) or theme (cloak and dagger, flyers). Something along the lines of... "A standard 5th level fighter in the Bloodspill match has the following equipment bundle: Weapon: Longsword Shield: MW Heavy Steel Shield (3 battlepoints) Armor: +1 Scale Mail (12 battlepoints) Extras: oil of magic weapon, potion of cure light wounds (6 battlepoints) If the Cloak and Dagger theme is chosen, a 5th level fighter makes the following substitutions: Weapon: No change Shield: Darkwood shield (3 battlepoints) Armor: MW studded leather (2 battlepoints) Extras: oil of magic weapon, potion of cure light wounds x4 (15 battlepoints) If the player prefers the two-weapon fighter archetype or ranger, the following substitutions are made: Weapon 1: MW longsword (4 battlepoints) Shield/Weapon 2: MW shortsword (4 battlepoints) Armor: Mithral shirt (11 battlepoints) Extras: none" Admittedly, this quick draft is wordy, but I'm sure you get the idea. Let us know what you think and what else you'd like to see. Thanks. :) Marie
