The Grimful Rapture
(AKA:Continuance , Survival, Unnatural Selection)

The object of this Match Style is for the Players from both teams to stay alive as long as possible while Undead and Necromancers tries to kill every single player.

Match Lengths: Infinite

Variants

The Grimful Rapture 
The Rapture is the sudden release of malefic forces from the plane of negative energy. Overflowing like steam from an uncovered pot, the Rapture floods the immediate area and seeps for miles. Due to its very nature the power of rapture stimulates anything that exists of negative energy. For the undead, this repairs their structures, sometimes fortifying them to new heights. For Necromantic spells that are well timed, the effects can be awe-inspiring. For those that are harmed by negative energy the affected often feel they were suddenly covered in some form of viscid substance that slows their moments while burning them to the core. For all, being caught in the Rapture is both haunting and blissful. 



Points are scored by the number of players in a team which are alive at the end of each round.

Mechanics
The Rapture creates a 60-foot-radius spread negative energy aura spreads from each Grimful Rapture. All undead in the field (including the Grimful Rapture itself) are treated as if having turn resistance +20 and a negative energy version of fast healing 20.



Variants

Variant: The Rapture has no affect on the players.
Variant: The Rapture has full affect on the players.
Variant: Skeletons and zombies for low level

As swarm after swarm of Undead fight to kill you first.  An Epic survivor match!!!

          ok now what about high lvl clerics .... could be break the style of play very quickly

              One team starts as the undead; the other the living. The undead begin outnumbered, but everyone they kill immediately rises as an undead - under the command of the undead chr who slew him.
